7 smartphone rumored to have a 50-megapixel camera

The rumor stems from the EXIF data of a super high-resolution (8160x6120) photo uploaded on <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/7-smartphone-rumored-to-have-50.html" target="_blank">Weibo</a><a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/7-smartphone-rumored-to-have-50.html" target="_blank">,</a>
 which mentions Oppo Find 7 as the camera name. While it's kind of hard 
to judge camera quality by a single shot, the image itself looks 
impressive (the image above this story is a cropped version).<br />

At present, Nokia and Sony provide smartphones with very high 
resolution cameras. Should the rumor be true, it would put this Android 
powered smartphone ahead of Nokia Lumia 1020, the current leader when it
 comes to megapixel packed in a smartphone, which houses a 41MP camera.<br />

Although the Chinese OEM has reportedly faked leaks in the past to 
generate buzz for its upcoming launches, we'll know for sure later this

Android beats iOS to become the top os for tablets

Compared with the year 2012, when 53.3 million Android tablets were 
sold, 2013 witnessed a whopping 127 percent surge in worldwide sales of 
Android tablets. Over the same period, iPad sales grew to 70.4 million 
from 61.4 million.<br />

The dramatic boost in sales from several different<a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/googles-android-has-effectively.html" target="_blank"> manufacturers</a> had 
Android gaining the largest share in the tablet market. While Android's 
market share grew from 45.8 percent in 2012 to 61.9 percent in 2013, 
iOS's market share dropped from 52.8 percent to 36 <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/googles-android-has-effectively.html" target="_blank">percent </a>during the 
same period.<br />

Karbonn's new smartphone with Android and WP OS

You may recall that <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/karbonns-new-smartphone-with-android_4.html" target="_blank">Karbonn </a>is one of the new Windows Phone partners that Microsoft announced
 at the start of <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/karbonns-new-smartphone-with-android_4.html" target="_blank">MWC</a> 2014. Thanks to eased regulations on Windows Phone 
hardware, <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/karbonns-new-smartphone-with-android_4.html" target="_blank">Karbonn</a> has been able to develop a dual-booting phone set for 
release in June, along with a few other Windows Phones that we'll see in
 a few month's time.<br />

The company's dual-booting handset is supposed to target "office-going 
professionals and 'techies'", although no <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/karbonns-new-smartphone-with-android_4.html" target="_blank">specifcations </a>nor a price for 
the smartphone has been revealed.<a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/karbonns-new-smartphone-with-android_4.html" target="_blank"> Karbonn</a> devices are typically found 
across Asia were competition is fierce, so it's unlikely the handset 
will be high-end or expensive.<br />

Most devices that run more than one operating system aren't 
particularly successful, as two separate environments can be tricky to

 hackers were able to exploit in order to gain access to the credentials

Comcast ISP users can access services like payment information, account
 creation, e-mail settings, and more, through a master account, which is
 enabled by default, and can be accessed through <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/nullcrew-fts-hacked-comcast-e-mail.html" target="_blank">Zimbra w</a>ebmail. If you 
are one of those who use the same password across different online 
services, you should immediately change it.<br />

user the chance to share their entire game library with up to five 
others, with some restrictions in place to ensure the system isn't 
abused.<br />

At the start of the beta program each Steam user could share their 
library with up to ten other accounts, although that has been changed 
for the final launch to ten <em>devices</em>. In the <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/valve-launches-steam-family-sharing.html" target="_blank">Steam</a> application 
settings you'll be able to authorize certain machines for <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/valve-launches-steam-family-sharing.html" target="_blank">Family 
Sharing</a>, and then up to five Steam accounts can access your library 
across those ten machines.<br />

Only one <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/valve-launches-steam-family-sharing.html" target="_blank">account</a> can access a shared library at any one time, so even 
if two users want to play different <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/valve-launches-steam-family-sharing.html" target="_blank">games</a>, only the person who first 
accesses the library can play. The owner of the<a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/valve-launches-steam-family-sharing.html" target="_blank"> library</a> always has 
priority access to their collection though, and if they want to use it, 
anyone else that's accessing it will be prompted to exit the game or buy
 it themselves.<br />

Aside from these restrictions, <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/valve-launches-steam-family-sharing.html" target="_blank">Steam</a> users accessing a shared game will

Restaurant menus in search results of Google

Simply search for the menu of the restaurant you’re looking for and 
cross your fingers that it has already been added. It was a bit hit or 
miss for me at this point but that’s likely to improve as more menus are
 added to the system.<br />
<br />
<br />

When you do stumble on a hit, you’ll find the menu broken down into 
different categories (appetizers, soups & salads, pasta, etc.). All 
of the listings I came across featured a description of each item as 
you’d find in the regular menu while a select few even listed the price –
 very convenient.<br />

<br />
The menu cards show up at the top of the page above the search results 
and are extremely handy, especially on mobile devices. The service is 
only available in the US as of writing but again, I suspect this will 
change over time and more regions will be added.<br />
<br />

Urbanspoon and Yelp have been the two main players in the online 
restaurant information and ratings business for the past several years. 
It’s far too early to know if Google’s new service will have a huge 
impact on either of those two outfits but I wouldn’t be surprised if it

Microsoft promises to fix Skype chat syncing

It’s been nearly three months in the making but Microsoft is finally 
delivering on a promise to fix an annoying issue that has plagued Skype 
users for several months.<br />

Microsoft transitioned from peer-to-peer networks to cloud-powered 
servers to power the service but unfortunately, Skype’s infrastructure

Microsoft has improved the push notification experience within Skype and
 also baked in some performance enhancements.<br />

Jon White, Visa’s Head of Marketing, recently <a href="http://askneed.blogspot.com/2014/03/visa-testing-with-biometrics-for.html" target="_blank">pointed out</a>
 that smartphones equipped with fingerprint scanners are definitely 
useful. He said Visa is working with these technologies and they are all
 very interesting.<br />
<br />

But how exactly would Visa implement such a solution? That’s unclear at
 this time but odds are, it’d need to be linked to a mobile device.<br />
<br />

White added that it’s a different consideration between drawing a 
squiggle to unlock a phone or putting in a four-digit password to access
 a mobile device versus what’s required to access a bank account. Secure
 management of payment credentials is top priority, he said.<br />
<br />

Something else that needs to be considered, White noted, is consumer 
attitude. Do users really want a single password (in this case, a 
fingerprint) to access all of their secure services? Sure, the idea of a
 single password sounds convenient but will consumers ever get over the 
idea of that being a secure solution?<br />
<br />

The executive expects partnerships to form in this space and although 
Visa will continue to explore it, they will need multiple layers of 
encryption to preserve customer trust and integrity, he concluded.

Though it's entering an increasingly crowded market already populated by
 the likes of Chromecast, Roku and Apple TV, Qplay may have a distinct 
advantage.<br />

devices," the company said in a statement provided to TechNewsWorld by 
spokesperson Tierney Oakes. Specifically, it's "translating channels

Because Qs can contain content from multiple sources, "including your
 friends, Qplay is more flexible and provides a more personalized and

The key, however, is always content, he added.<br />
"If Qplay can get access to interesting or exclusive content, then they have a chance to be a player," Sappington said.<br />

advertising network and successful online video service," he said.
